How to use a Halda AI Form for Slate Event Registration

How to configure Halda and Slate to use an AI Form for event registration. 

  1. Add a question to your Halda form that indicates student interest in registering for a specific event

    1. Ex: “Would you like to register for Summer Orientation now? By clicking ‘Yes’, you will immediately be registered for Summer Orientation on June 7, 2026.

  2. In your Slate instance, navigate to your Halda Source Format.

  3. Add a new mapping for the newly created question you created in Step 1

    1. Map to “Form/Event Registration” - “Form Title”

  4. In your Prompt Value Mappings, map the question to the correct event in your Slate instance

    1. The event must already exist in your Slate instance.

  5. Add a Static Mapping for “Form/Event Registration” - “Form Registration Status” = “Registered”
